Made To Order  

What does made to order mean? Any pieces that are listed as made to order take 2-3 weeks before shipment. Anything that is in stock (meaning, available to add to your cart) will ship within 5-7 days. If there is a piece that you’re wanting, but it is out of stock, send me a quick email and I’ll do my absolute best to fill your request! Or, kindly wait until it is back in stock :)

A note about our Brass and Bronze jewellery

Over time, your brass and bronze jewellery will develop a beautiful patina and deepen to a dark gold. If you would prefer to keep your pieces bright and light, we recommend regularly polishing with a polish cloth (always included with your brass purchase!) . Due to the alloy composition of brass and bronze, the copper in these pieces can sometimes discolour the skin. A great way to minimize or avoid discolouration, is to always take your jewellery off when washing your hands, showering and exercising. Storing your jewellery separately will also help prolong the bright polish, and minimize any tarnishing, which often occurs when different metals are stored together.

our gold plated pieces

We are delighted to now offer gold plating on some of our pieces! While there is a wonderfully thick layer of 14k gold plating applied, it is recommended to avoid exposure to water, such as showering or swimming, and to refrain from applying lotions or perfumes while wearing your jewellery. Should you find your gold-plated piece in need of a refresh, fret not! We offer a re-plating service for just $20 per piece.

I’m buying someone a gift but I don’t know their ring size!

Not to worry! If you aren’t able to determine their ring size, just send us an email after you’ve placed your order. We offer 1 complimentary ring sizing!

will brass or bronze turn my finger green?

Skin discolouring from brass and bronze is your body’s natural reaction to the copper that is part of the alloy composition of brass and bronze. To avoid this from happening, take off your jewellery before washing your hands, showering, and exercising (sweating can also cause discolouring to happen). If you would like to have your piece gold plated, please get in touch for quote.

sterling silver care

Overtime, sterling silver may develop a slight patina. To prevent this from happening, use a polishing cloth to clean your pieces. Always store your pieces in a dry area, away from any moisture or humidity. A excellent way to clean your sterling silver jewellery is to combine a small amount of baking soda and dish soap, and scrub with a soft bristle tooth brush.

Custom Orders

Rowe is currently accepting new custom orders on a case by case basis. It is an incredible privilege to create something special for you! A custom wedding band, engagement ring, or special new treasure - get in touch for the current timeline for custom pieces! Custom sterling silver work starts at $300+hst, and custom solid gold work starts at $800+hst.

can i use my own gold toward a custom piece of jewellery?

Good question! It’s such a beautiful idea to use family or heirloom gold toward a special custom piece. Solid gold (not plated, or gold filled) has the ability to be melted down and recycled into a new piece of jewellery.Each project requires quoting based on the nature of the work. Not all gold can be recycled. Chains, or hollow pieces are not often suitable items for melting down. Please get in touch if you have more questions!

Shipping

If you are ordering within Canada, all orders are shipped through Canada Post, tracking number provided. We offer a flat rate shipping of $18.00 on orders under $100. Free shipping on orders over $150 within Canada.

If you are ordering from the US, shipment is done through Canada Post and USPS, with a tracking number provided. Flat rate shipping to the US is $15. If you would like to arrange expedited shipping, please get in touch. Rowe is not responsible for any shipments that are lost or stolen.

If you are ordering from Toronto, there are some instances where pick-up from our studio is available. Please select “TORONTO PICK UP” at check out, and we will be in touch with our pick up times.

Repairs + Resizing

If you piece needs to be repaired, please contact Rowe immediately at shop@daniellebartlett.ca

Rowe offers complimentary resizing within 4 weeks of purchase.

Returns

All sales are final. Once production has begun on your piece, we can not refund your order. If your piece is damaged during shipping, or if you have received the wrong order please contact immediately. Due to the nature of hand-made items, there can be slight variations from the photos posted on this website.

All payment is done through Stripe or Paypal. Rowe currently accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
